About

Over the past twenty years, dozens of popular books have hit our book stands on the topic of personal finance.  They all tell us the same things:  1) debt is a bad idea, 2) get out of it, and 3) if we want to get ahead, we have to stop using credit cards to live.  And that’s great advice for those who are reasonably adept at managing personal finances.  But for those of us who are deep in debt, this advice is disastrous.

How come?  Because we don’t know how to get out of debt and we don’t know how to stop incurring it. We have no idea how to stop living beyond our means and still fund the things we need to live.  So telling us to get out of debt without telling us how is like telling a drowning person who can’t float to swim to shore.  It’s a terrific admonition, but it gives us no tools.

That’s what The Debt-Free Spending Plan is all about:  giving you the tools—daily, simple, tools—that will help you get out of debt, forever.

The Debt-Free Spending Plan is a neutral tool:  it doesn’t care how far in debt you are, or how much angst you feel about it.  And it doesn’t matter if you make $14,000 or $14 million.  If you do the Plan, it will work for you, every time.  It’s straight-ahead, it’s clear, and it won’t consume your life.  With just a few minutes of attention to it each day, you’ll begin to get free.  If you can add you can use the Plan to live free from debt forever.  That’s a promise.

The Debt-Free Spending Plan is available at your favorite bookseller, on Amazon.com and Barnesandnoble.com, and on all your favorite devices.  If you’d like personal coaching, please see the link below.   Commentary on debt-free living is available on my blog or via twitter (@moneypeace4life) and facebook (The Debt-Free Spending Plan.)  Please read the personal testimonies of people who have been helped by the Plan on the Coaching page, and feel free to contact me with questions or inquiries.
